You were going to 'get on it' in the new year

But what do we always forget..?

January is an abysmal month for weather

At the moment it's so cold hurts to go outside Reader

(I've been trying to psych myself up to go food shopping all day) ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

I know, I know, you don't mind being in the gym

It's fine when you're out walking and you've warmed up

But it's the getting outside that's stopping you ๐Ÿฅถ

There's also still the last of the Christmas leftovers that need eating

Plus all that chocolate you got bought (it'd be rude to throw it away) ๐Ÿซ

Right now, you've got 1,000 great excuses not to start losing weight

But here's the thing - when it gets to June, you will wish you'd have started NOW ๐Ÿ“†

Yes, you can lose weight pretty quickly, but there always be one or two things that crop up each month that will slow you down

Birthdays, Weddings, Work Dos, City Breaks, you know the drill ๐Ÿป๐Ÿท

Which is why it's a good idea to at least start as early as possible

And here's the good news Reader

Starting doesn't mean going from 0-100 in 2 seconds

Losing weight doesn't actually require being in a packed gym 5 days a week putting yourself through gruelling workouts that you hate

You don't need some crazy diet

All you need to do is get into a calorie deficit ๐Ÿ“‰

And for most people, that just means tracking calories and getting out for a walk every day

That's it

Just doing those two things daily will get you where you want, without much fuss at all
