Did You Lose Weight?


January is finally over

You made it Reader, well done 👍

It's still pretty cold and dark, but we're through the most depressing month of the year

I'm guessing you would have tried to lose weight in Jan though...

How did it go?

Did you;

a) Commit to the gym 6x times a week, get burned out after 3 weeks and quit? 🥵

b) Give up any food and drink that brings you any joy, get bored after 4 weeks and quit? 🥗

c) Get into a reasonable calorie deficit and start walking for 30-60 minutes a day? 📉

If the answer is C, you probably don't need my help - I bet you lost around 4-6 pounds since the start of the year.

You are free to go.

If the answer is A or B however, you made the same mistake that 99% of people do in January

You've tried to go too aggressive with exercise or food (or both), realised it makes your life miserable, and quit.

You might have lost a few pounds, but you'll probably go back to 'normal' now and gain those pounds back

You might have lost nothing and wasted a month 📆

The people that answered 'C' will be able to carry dropping about 1 pound a week until they hit their goal, whether that's 10, 20 or 30 pounds

That's the sweet spot you want to get to

No need to overhaul your life, kill yourself in the gym or turn vegan

Just implement small easy habits, daily

Some people can do that on their own

Others need help staying on track and being held to account
