I hear it all the time

"It's so easy to gain weight"

And that's 100% true Reader

Just look at the environment we live in;

  • Deliveroo 🏍
  • Petrol stations ⛽
  • Vending machines
  • THAT aisle at the Supermarket you know you should avoid 🍫

You have the opportunity to quickly and cheaply buy high-calorie food everywhere you turn

But it's also easier than ever to lose weight

It might not seem like it Reader, but you've got it good

20 years ago, we didn't have MyFitness Pal 📱

The Weight Loss industry was full of scams (it still is, but there are also lots of good practitioners) 🐍

Gymshark clothes didn't exist (got to look good when you're doing your steps right?) 🚶‍♀️

And we didn't have calories on menus (yes, this IS a good thing)

So although you can go on your phone and order a Five Guys in about 30 seconds, you are also armed to the teeth with information about how to lose weight

You know you need to be in a calorie deficit

You know you need good habits like;

  • Drinking water 🌊
  • Getting 7-9 hours of sleep 😴
  • Getting your steps in 🚶‍♂️

You know you have to be consistent

But you still find weight loss hard

There might be one final piece of the puzzle missing 🧩

Accountability

I know, it's a wanky word

But it's true

You struggle to police yourself 👮‍♂️

You can stick to your calories for a few days, but then something comes up
